Current Positions:
Project Manager
Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for onsite Project Management. Effectively manage and monitor projects to ensure delivery under stringent cost, quality and schedule constraints while ensuring client expectations are exceeded. Manage project plan, risks, requirement changes and project release. Maintain effective client interface and proactively manage issues and project risks. Communicate with off-shore team and expeditiously escalate/resolve any issues. Participate in all technical reviews and walkthroughs. Coordinate release and User Acceptance of all deliverables including sign-offs. Maintain all project records and documents.
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree in Computer Science or related field (Foreign degree equivalency acceptable) + 3 years of experience in job offered. In alternative will accept Bachelors degree plus 8 years of full life cycle software development experience using established Quality processes and methodologies such as ISO 9001:2000 or SEI CMMI Level 3 and above and including 2 years experience in managing Enterprise-class Internet applications development projects with team size of 10-20 team members in an off-shore environment.
Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of project management principles including planning, estimating, controlling and risk management;
  • Excellent knowledge of project management and office productivity tools;
  • Excellent knowledge of OOAD with understanding and practice of UML and Rational Rose;
  • Excellent understanding of Software Development Methodologies (like RUP) and software quality principles;
  • Hands on experience of Java, EJB, JSP, Servlets, J2EE, MVC Framework and related internet technologies will be a plus.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
Senior .NET Developer
Responsibilities
Create detailed design, functional specifications and unit test cases. Perform coding and unit testing. Perform peer level code reviews. Identify and maintain component library for reuse. Maintain and adhere to coding standards, best practices, tips and techniques. Application maintenance. Provide training and mentoring to junior team.
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree or equivalent* in computer science/Information Systems plus one year in software development of building Enterprise class Internet applications using Microsoft .NET technology. Will accept Bachelors degree plus 5 years of experience in Software Development/Engineering

* "Equivalent" means any completed foreign degree program(s) that includes coursework/training in the field of computer science/Information Systems that is determined by an authorized U.S. degree evaluator as that which is normally attained from a college or university in the United States.
Skills
  • Solid hands on experience in C#, ASP.NET, Web service, JSP, XML, XSLT, HTML, VB.NET
  • Solid hands on experience in using SQL/Server database, and writing Stored procedures, Triggers etc
  • Excellent knowledge of OOAD with understanding and practice of UML and Use Case documentation
  • Good understanding of middleware, database, LDAP and internet technology
  • Excellent understanding of Software Development Methodologies (like RUP) and software quality principles
  • Hands on knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 or later and configuration management tool like CVS, VSS
  • Good team player who requires minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
Manuscript Content Developer
Responsibilities
  • Under close supervision, customize data, page, rating, forms XML manuscripts using an authoring tool
  • Create and document detailed design, functional specifications and unit test cases
  • Perform coding and unit testing
  • Perform peer level code reviews
  • Develop maintain and adhere to coding standards, best practices, tips and techniques
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree in computer science or any engineering major that included successful completion of coursework in computer systems/applications
Skills
  • Any programming language
  • Ability to develop and document functional specifications
  • Team player with independent accountability
  • Excellent understanding of Software Development
    Methodologies (like RUP) and software quality principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of XML technologies is a plus
  • Programming in .NET technologies is a plus
  • Adobe Professional and advanced Word functionality a plus
  • Insurance industry, especially commercial line, is a huge plus.
Quality Assurance (QA) Lead
Responsibilities
  • Lead design and implementation of QA processes
  • Create and manage testing schedule
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with other teams
  • Develop effective test case in accordance with
    business requirements
  • Develop a detailed understanding of how and why clients use the application.
  • Help ensure overall product quality
  • Provide coaching and assistance to junior QA analysts.
  • Identify areas of test improvement through analysis and use of
    metrics
  • Using Mercury Suite testing tools, plan and perform functionality testing, Black Box testing, performance/stress testing, system testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Masters degree in any engineering major that included successful completion of coursework in IT design/analysis.
Experience
4 years of hands on experience in job offered or related occupation that provided SDLC and Mercury Suite testing tools knowledge. CSTE/ CSQA Certifications Preferred.

  • Excellent knowledge of various test strategies
  • Sound knowledge of internet and client-server technologies
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical subject matter to other QA analysts
  • Hands-On design, implementation, debugging, delivery, maintenance, and evolution of automated tests and testing frameworks
  • Aptitude for learning complex technical information quickly, ability to multi-task and prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to details
