| Opportunity Summary |
 |
| Our client decided to consolidate and completely modernize its new business and policy administration platform across multiple lines of business using an off-the-shelf policy administration product. By using an online policy administration system built on Internet technologies, the company sought to become more competitive and agile, increase customer retention and lower costs. Watercraft was chosen as the first line of business and California as the first state to build and test various pieces of the application and integration components. Upon successful launch of the first LOB and first state, it was planned to roll it out for 45 other states where the company wrote business. It was also planned to implement it for 3 other lines of business all within a period of 18 months. |
